Welcome to my website!
My name is Godi Hitschler.
I am a Godi – a godmother – a patron saint.

In desperate, dark or sad hours a GODI is there to comfort you, to give you support and to show you a light.
I work as a psychological consultant in communication and crisis management. I empower c-levels, managers and their teams to overcome every crisis, to go strong through crisis and deal with grief in a supportive way.

Communication and language have always fascinated me. After my studies in communication science, I was able to apply my expertise as a communication consultant for 18 years in various media companies such as Media group RTL, Gruner + Jahr and Microsoft. Especially the digital component with its technical possibilities was always my hobbyhorse.

Gradually, the desire matured in me to do something for society. But what am I actually good at?
Communication, consulting, compassion. A good combination.
To advise people in their communication behavior and to empower them to free themselves from emotional and communicative entanglements became my drive. Yes, to make the world a little bit healer.
Inner and outer freedom for everyone. I trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and additionally in Systemic Counseling (according to Virginia Satir).
Professionally, I drove two-track for a few years. Better safe than sorry. In 2020 I made the decision to choose one path 100%.
Who could have guessed that a pandemic would accompany my start into self-employment.
